I thought that in the future we would all be mainly living underwater due to global warming. So, I designed a mermaid with genetically engineered species helping her survive. Flat wrack seaweed over her lungs helped her under arm gills extract oxygen from the water. Enteromorpha seaweed (gutweed) digests small fish caught by her slaved predactors - a snakelocks sea anemone on her right leg and a deep sea angler fish on her left buttock.
Blue ringed octopus spots on her arms and suckers under them show she has that creatures deadly defence. On her back seaweed (dabber locks with bladder wrack's bouyancy aiding air bladders) helped her swim as well as ending in a transmiter above the water level. Small glowing dragonflies in her hair were to carry messages from there to any land dwellers.
She is really wearing briefs & nipple covers. This took 6 hours. Thanks to model Ceri for cheerful work in wet, cold & windy Wales!
